Our restaurant "Fisherman's House"" is exactly the right address. It was established in April 2000, and now completes our holiday park. It is attractively integrated into the scenery with its typical thatched roof, the "Fisherman's House" is truly a piece of jewellery.
Daily freshly caught fish is landed by the Plauer fishermen and is prepared for you by our chef-cook and his team. By the partnership with the fishery it is possible to present you the whole range of our local fish world. Thus you can have a taste, for example, of crayfish, char or vendace - we smoke the eel, by the way, ourselves.
How about to watch the fishermen casting the nets? - we organise guided excursions to the fishery and would like to give you such an insight into this traditional trade.
Have you already had a taste of smoked carp? In our in-house smokery we smoke fish ourselves - trout, perch, vendace and eel are smoked with a fine tradition. Our smoke master entertains you with stories around the fish.
How about home-baked bread? In our clay oven we bake fresh farmhouse bread. Please, take a place on our terrace, observe the activity on the Elde and enjoy a piece of fragrant bread and the fresh eel directly from the smoke. Good wine rounds out the pleasure.
