MÜRITZ LAKELAND
The Müritz-Lakeland is a unique natural landscape. It has 4 great lakes in the middle. The Müritz, the Plauer lake, the Fleesensee and the Kölpinsee. There are a lot of small lakes, rivers and canals there.
The Müritz-Elde Waterway begins here and runs to Schwerin and through the Elbe to Hamburg. To the east there is a connection to Berlin.
The infrastructure is fantastic, as a water-sided connection among the great lakes, without sluices.
Bike trails run along the single lakes. The landscape is undulating, particularly for a demanding biker is the best choice, in addition the healthy lake air.
